French 2 is a continuation of French 1 and builds upon the speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills already acquired. Instruction continues entirely in French using the same interactive methods introduced in French 1. You will be amazed at how much and how well you will be able to express yourself in your new language!

Regular – re and –ir verb conjugations
The irregular verbs écrire, lire, dire, connaître, savoir, prendre boire
Weather expressions
The past tenses – passé composé and imparfait
Interrogative pronouns and adjectives
Direct and indirect object pronouns
Demonstrative adjectives
The idiomatic use of pronominal verbs
Advanced negations
Course work includes regular workbook exercises and language lab, 4 quizzes, 4 short compositions, 1 midterm, and 1 final.
