French 110 Senior Honors Seminar

Prerequisites. This seminar is for students with honors standing, and with consent of instructor. In the Senior Honors Seminar, which is often paired with a graduate seminar, students explore topics pertaining to French studies in more depth and interact more closely with faculty and other students. Honors students may use their seminar paper as the starting point for the preparation and completion of their honors thesis in French (20-page paper). The honors thesis allows students to demonstrate what they have learned in their French major (and while studying abroad) and to contribute to their field as a result of their undergraduate experience. Approval codes will be distributed to students who will contact the French undergraduate assistant, Margaret McMurtrey, as well as the professor in charge of the seminar.
